ADD-ON ACTIVITIES AT GLEN LAKE CAMP
Prior to arrival, our Guest Services Director will work with you to add additional, fee-based activities to your contract. The waterpark and lake toys are available from May to September. Archery, Zip Line, and Team Building Course are offered all year and facilitated by our enthusiastic, well-trained staff.
ARCHERY
Archery is a classic camp activity and is taught by one of our Level 1 USA Archery trained staff. Campers will learn safety and terminology of this sport and then will be able to put their skills to the test on the range. Whether you’re a novice, just learning a new skill, or an expert perfecting your marksmanship, this activity is fun for all.
We always have a Level 1 USA Archery Instructor on site for archery.
TEAM BUILDING COURSE
The Team Building Course program is a half day, low-ropes team bulding course to experientially enhance their understanding of leadership, trust, responsibility, communication, roles, and cooperation. Each individual will be encouraged to participate fully.
We always have a Level 1 ACCT Certified Staff Member on site for the course.
Our Goals for our team building course include;
-
Gain problem solving skills and understand conflict management
-
Challenge personal commitment and willingness to risk within the group's dymanmics
-

-

-
Have fun!
Climb to new heights and conquer your fears! Our 30-foot indoor climbing wall is for novice and expert climbers. Certified instructors will be there to show you the ropes and make sure you stay safe!
We always have Level 1 ACCT Certified Instructors on site for the wall.
CLIMBING WALL
Shoot down our giant Water Slide, relax on the Splash Pad, or make big waves jumping off our dock in the center of the lake. Our lake toys are available to your group to schedule and we run them seasonally. Lifejackets are required and provided.
We always have lifeguards on duty when the lake is scheduled.
LAKE TOYS
WATER PARK
Loads of fun for young and old alike, the waterpark features a 24′ high slide with unexpected twists and turns, or hop on an inner tube and float around the lazy river. The tumblebuckets and waterfall are other favorites. If staying dry is your priority, you can still be a part of the fun underneath one of our big umbrellas. The water park is available for guest or non-profit group use only through a planned retreat, not open to the public.
We always have lifeguards on duty when our Water Park is open.
Take a relaxing ride out on the lake on one of our paddleboards, kayaks, or canoes. It will test your balance and strength as you try and stay dry! Our Paddle Sports are available during the warm months of the year for our guests. However, they do have to be reserved ahead of time because a lifeguard is required to be present for any group that would like to use them. Life jackets are required for anyone that goes out on the lake.
We always have lifeguards on duty when you are paddling.
PADDLING SPORTS
ZIP LINE
The zip line starts with the participant on the ground, where they then climb the stairs 35-40 feet in the air to the zip line platform. That is where they are hooked into the zip line and sent off to enjoy the ride! The challenges associated with the zip line are more individual ones, but there is still a place for encouragement, support from the group, and teamwork. Some of the challenges the individual will face, such as building confidence, risk taking, and over coming fears, can be addressed in a safe team environment that allows for growth and development within the group.
We always have Level 1 ACCT Certified Staff at our zip line.
